These are various old videos I've edited from things I've done, mostly car related. Due to the age of the videos and the compression used by the video hosting services, the picture quality is not great.
Back to Silverstone and back to the GP circuit, this time with Lotus On Track and Hondas On Track. The weather was not ideal with rain in the morning, clearing up and leaving us with a dry circuit for the afternoon. As much as I would have loved to have captured the sliding around in the morning, the video camera wouldn't have enjoyed it as much.
This is the first time I've tried using RaceChrono for the data overlay and I'm quite impressed with the results, particularly since it's a free piece of software. The GPS speed readings aren't perfect and neither is the G-force readout, but it gives an idea of what's going on.
Finally, I decided I would amp up the editing and go with a bit of a cheesy intro. Look out for some mistakes made by other drivers towards the end of the video. Wind noise is still an issue but hopefully there will be a solution for next time. Read the full write up here.
The first outing on track for 2009 and it's back to Silverstone, but to the Southern Circuit this time. Hangar Straight, Stowe and Club are included but are joined by a couple of high speed chicanes. A very enjoyable layout and certainly a fantastic day, the car performing brilliantly throughout. I was able to push to the limit and couldn't have extracted much more from the car. The video is a new combination of forward and rear facing shots, although they weren't taken simultaneously so the editing isn't perfect. I've also included a gear indicator and rough speed.
I finally managed to coax the Caterham to a North Weald activity day with Hondas-On-Track, and then I go and clip a cone on the first event resulting in the rear right ring being ripped off. C'est la vie, enjoy the video.

A cold but dry December day at Brands Hatch turned out to be the best track day I've done so far. My car performed flawlessly, the setup was perfect, and I was able to match the pace of the 2006 class winning CRX which you see in this video. 10 laps of my less than perfect driving!

This is some footage of me and my CRX early on during the day while the circuit was still damp, cold and slippery. This made the Lotus boys very easy targets!!

A novice track evening at Brands Hatch organised by Hondas-On-Track. The first outing for my revised CRX which proved to be stunning under braking and through the corners! A great evening all round with some excellent driving and lovely cars. No in car this time though unfortunately.
This is some extra video that I took at Llandow. Although it was the end of the day these were by far my most consistent laps and I enjoyed these laps the most. Almost no mistakes! The sound's a bit dodgy and gets slightly out of sync from about half way through.
A few laps of the Silverstone GP circuit in my 1990 Honda CRX 16v. The event was organised by TrackDayRacing.co.uk, Hondas-On-Track and Lotus-On-Track. Yes, I know the camera position sucks, but I didn't have time to try again!
We organised 2 teams to compete at a kerting endurance event at Rye House (sometime in 2005, can't remember the exact date). Anyway the footage is mostly of members in Team 1. At the end of lap 1 we were around 10th or 12, but we finished 3rd.

This is the intro to the video I was going to make from the footage we took when CRX-UK met at the Millway rolling road back in February 2005. I never got round to it though, and this is all I have left.
This is the intro to the footage I edited together from a trip to Santa Pod with some friends way back in January 2004. This was the first video editing I did. Ever.
